Donald Trump was regularly unprepared for presidential duties, but when it came to international politics, he was particularly out of his depth. The 45th president had difficult relations with many of America’s key allies. And he seemed to have a particular fondness for strongmen-style leaders like Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin.

According to his son, it was actually his father that was getting one over on Putin and un. The ex-president’s son said in a video he posted on Wednesday:
“[in a mocking impersonation] if it was me in charge I’d tell them (Putin and un) to go screw themselves.” He continued, “This is some nerd, in his mom’s basement, who’s never dealt with anything. Never actually had any power and never understood those people because he’s never been in the same room as them.”
“In academia, they’re writing this stuff like its real, like they actually have a say in what the hell they’re talking about. You ever think, like all other things, maybe Trump understood that. He knew exactly how to play these guys, and he played it like a fiddle.”

It’s Guilfoyle’s birthday, so Junior got into the party supplies early. He claims that daddy only praised Putin and Kim because he was using psychological warfare on them: “He knew exactly how to play these guys, and he played them like a fiddle!” pic.twitter.com/4otuhtECKX
