When Donald Trump assumed office in 2017, he was, at 70 years-old, the oldest President ever inaugurated. At his age, it is natural for there to be additional concerns about his health. Those concerns were amplified yesterday when he made a surprise trip to the Walter Reed Medical Center.
The White House told reporters that there is nothing to worry about and the President was there for a routine checkup. Fox News host Jeanine Pirro and Stephanie Grisham discussed the story last and were effusive in their praise for the man, with the host saying Trump is “almost superhuman.”
According to Trump’s administration, “Anticipating a very busy 2020, the President is taking advantage of a free weekend here in Washington, D.C., to begin portions of his routine annual physical exam at Walter Reed.” The President last physical took place back in February.
Grisham attempted to put any concerns about Trump’s health to rest. “He’s healthy as can be,” Grisham said. “He has got more energy than anybody in the White House. That man works from 6:00 a.m. until, you know, very, very late at night. He’s doing just fine.” She continued, “The President remains healthy and energetic without complaints, as demonstrated by his repeated vigorous rally performances in front of thousands of Americans several times a week.
Pirro also had praise for the President’s vigor. “He’s almost superhuman,” said the host. “I don’t know how anyone can deal with what he’s dealing with. I get frustrated with what’s going on in Washington.”
