Ron DeSantis has been congratulating himself for his COVID response since the virus hit American shores But the reality is, Florida hasn’t done all that well containing the virus. While the state has had staggering numbers of cases, the death toll has been comparatively low. According to Doctors, the methodology by which they count deaths artificially reduces the number. So DeSantis, despite his poor performance, continues to rail against Joe Biden’s COVID ‘failures’. Last night, the Florida governor complained to Fox News that the president is making his state a “scapegoat.”
DeSantis whined to Mark Levin, “Most of these other governors and the people like [Dr. Anthony] Fauci and the federal leadership, they basically say, ‘Get a shot, wear a mask’ and they never talk about treatment. And we’ve really embraced treatment because that’s just the reality of what we’re facing.”
The Florida governor continued, “Fauci and people are absolutely to blame for this. And so once we did get these treatments online through the private sector, to ignore them and to put all your eggs in one basket was a fundamental mistake.”

DeSantis then completely absolved Trump, saying, “I think that they just have tunnel vision in terms of how they want to handle this. It hasn’t worked obviously. Remember he demagogued Donald Trump during the campaign, saying Trump was to blame for Covid even though China was to blame for COVID.”
