WATCH: Dan Crenshaw Blasts GOP Colleagues for Tanking Border Talks

In the current GOP, the party's Senators are like the adults in the room, constantly trying to reign in the leaderless, aimless House Republicans. It is clear that the House GOP isn't willing to do anything that would make Joe Biden look good.

Republicans and Democrats in the Senate recently made an agreement on a bill that would enhance border security. Speaker Mike Johnson said he wouldn't push to pass the bill in the House. Dan Crenshaw is not all that happy with his fellow Republicans and said so the CNN's Manu Raju.

"The height of stupidity is having a strong opinion on something you know nothing about," he began. "I’m extremely disappointed in the very strange maneuvering by many on the right to torpedo, a potential border reform bill. We have a bill that on net significantly decreases illegal immigration and we sabotage that. That is, is inconsistent with what we told our voters we would do. People will make up whatever reasons they want to. There’s a number of them, I’m sure, but it would be a pretty unacceptable dereliction of your duty."

After Raju kicked it back to Dana Bash in the studio, she remarked, " think I want to put that Dan Crenshaw quote on a pillow, talking about being, very exercised about people, even though they don’t know anything about it. ‘The height of stupidity is being very opinionated about something you don’t know anything about,’ that’s the quote. Love it."
