WATCH: Cohen Says Trump Will go to Mar-a-Lago During X-Mas and Won’t Come Back
Over the next week, Donald Trump will do plenty of complaining about the election. He will claim that he was cheated and the elections weren’t fair. People like Rudy Giuliani, Corey Lewandowski and his sons will hold ridiculous press conferences arguing this point. But at some point, the president will come to the realization that he won’t be able to overturn the will of the people.
With his political fortunes dwindling this weekend, Trump spent much of his time playing golf. And it is likely that he will spend the upcoming holiday season at his Mar-a-Lago resort. Michael Cohen thinks that he will go down to Florida in December and won’t return to Washington.
The former Trump lawyer made the comments during a Sunday MSNBC interview. When asked if Trump would ever concede, he responded:
“No, no chance in the world. You have the wrong guy for that. I would not be shocked if there is no concession speech at all. My theory is that at Christmas time he goes to Mar-a-Lago. I think he will stay there through the inauguration. I would not be shocked if he will not show up to the inauguration either. He cannot let the camera look at him and basically pull down the curtain and see the wizard standing beside. He is just a loser and it is killing him and he, right now, what is going on in the White House is nothing but finger-pointing.”
