WATCH: CNN’s Keilar Ruthlessly Mocks “Mean Girls” Trump and Hannity
CNN’s Brianna Keilar took apart Donald Trump’s Monday interview with Sean Hannity noting that the two just aired grievances and said noting of substance.
It is common for former President’s to take a nice break after leaving the stress of the White House. The 45th President, though, it utterly desperate to stay in power of the GOP and stay relevant in the public eye. So he has constantly called into Fox News and other Conservative outlets.
Last night, though, represented the first time he gave an interview in person. Not surprisingly, he chatted with his friend Sean Hannity.
Keilar began a segment on the interview saying, “Usually, when a President gives their first interview after leaving office, they wait longer than three months and they have something new to say. In Donald Trump’s case, unfortunately, it was neither. He sat down for Sean Hannity’s propaganda hour and just like person, man, woman, camera, TV, we’ve heard these hits before.”
The CNN anchor then noted that Hannity desperately tried to bait Trump into questioning Biden’s mental cognition. The former President, though, didn’t really take the bait.
Keilar closed with a positive, “If there is anything newsworthy from this mean girl group chat, it is Donald Trump telling his skeptical supporters whose vaccine hesitancy may prevent the U.S. From reaching herd immunity in the non-mass casualty way to get vaccinated.”
