[WATCH] CNN’s Keilar Roasts Rubio For Mocking 4-Star General

Marco Rubio makes himself a target every time he speaks publicly, and he’s also a favorite target of Twitter’s for his habit of tweeting Bible verses while acting in the opposite way his Sky Book says.
But mocking a retired 4-star General who is now serving as the Secretary of Defense for following mask mandates while traveling was going too far and stooping too low even for Rubio, who has been a faithful Trump lapdog regardless of how indifferent the Florida Retiree may be to his existence. Rubio needs that support as he faces a tough challenger for his seat in 2022 in Val Demings, a popular Democrat who’s only increased her national profile by speaking out against Rubio.

Rubio was rightly ratioed for his tweet about General Austin complying with the nation’s mandates.
Our @SecDef is vaccinated
But he arrives in the Philippines wearing a mask AND a face shield

Rubio’s home state of Florida is dealing with its own COVID-19 surge. The state leads the US in COVID-19 cases and has the highest number of residents hospitalized with COVID-19 per capita, according to data compiled by the Times. It also has the second-highest number of COVID-19 cases per capita, after Louisiana.
Marco Rubio calls It "embarrassing COVID theater" for Secretary of Defense Austin to wear a mask & face shield. But he’s unashamed that 20% of US Covid cases come from his state of FL. We need Val Demings! @RepValDemings
