WATCH: Carlson Says Obama Used “Fake Accent” While Eulogizing John Lewis

Donald Trump has not been welcome at the funerals of politicians both Republican and Democrat. While the President was not invited to the services for John McCain, Elijah Cummings and John Lewis, Barack Obama gave a eulogy at all 3.

Obama’s words at Lewis’ service were well received by mourners and viewers. Tucker Carlson, however, was not impressed with the 44th President’s speech. In fact, the Fox host says that Obama used a “fake accent” and politicized the occasion.

Carlson seemed almost eager to go after the man he spent 8 years attacking. He said of Obama, “Barack Obama showed up at congressman John Lewis’ funeral today and Obama claims he was there to eulogize his friend and that’s not true and that’s not what he did. Instead Obama gave a divisive and deeply dishonest campaign speech in church.”

The Fox host continued:

“It’s hard to believe that clip is real but it is, down to the cloying, fake accent, Mr. Hawaii Guy. But take three steps back. Imagine if some greasy politician showed up at your loved one’s funeral and started throwing around stupid partisan talking points about Senate procedure. Can you imagine that? You would be shocked if that happened. You’d probably walk out. Desecrating a funeral with campaign slogans? What kind of person would do that?”

Carlson was then critical of the mourners who attended the funeral for giving Obama a standing ovation.
