WATCH: Cancel Culture Obsessed Bill Maher Defends the Use of Ivermectin

For most of his career, Bill Maher has been an equal opportunity offender, ripping into Democrats and Republicans alike. Despite this, the majority of his audience is made up of Liberals.

Over the last year or so, Maher has become increasingly obsessed with cancel culture. This continued last night when the host went full MAGA and defended the use of the drug Ivermectin.

The FDA, of course, has advised Americans against using the drug to treat COVID-19. That hasn’t stopped the hosts on Fox News and GOP lawmakers from pushing it.

Maher said during a segment last night, “we have politicized medications now. I mean ivermectin, ivermectin. It’s a drug. It’s not a politician. It should not have any reputation, except does it work or not.”

The host continued, “On the left, it was like oh, no, you can’t even mention it…The comedians on the left would only talk about the fact that it was used to deworm horses leaving out that it has been prescribed millions of times for humans. Now, there was a study done, a large patient study in Brazil said that Ivermectin had no effect whatsoever. But, do you know what? There’s always multiple studies. I don’t know. Doctors are also wrong a lot about sh*t.”
