It is a close race, but Lauren Boebert may well be the least qualified lawmaker in the House of Representatives. Since she has no grasp of policy, the Colorado Rep. focuses on fighting culture war issues.
The latest issue, which has little to do with anything, is Pete Buttigieg’s paternity leave. The resounding attitude on Conservative media has been, ‘how dare a man take time to bond with his child.’
The Colorado Congresswoman took the issue on during a recent podcast appearance. She slammed the idea of paternity leave, claiming that she delivered her baby in the front seat of her truck.
Boebert began, “Mayor Pete was on a two-month maternity — paternity, whatever the heck you want to call it — leave. The guy was gone. The guy was not working, because why? He was trying to figure out how to chest feed.”
The Rep. continued, “I delivered one of my children in the front seat of my truck. Because, as a mom of four, we got things to do. Ain’t nobody got time for two and a half months of maternity leave. We have a world to save, here.
