WATCH: Bill Maher Goes In On Kooks Who Thought Trump Would be Inaugurated This Week

Leading up to this week, there was a lot of online chatter on QAnon boards about Trump being inaugurated this week. The chatter was loud enough that the FBI and Washington DC police were prepared for violence. Thankfully, that did not come to pass.

Many of the online kooks, though, are not deterred by Trump’s failure. When the conspiracy theory failed, some decided that the inauguration date would now be March 20th. During his weekend show, Bill Maher ripped into these people for failing to live in reality.

The HBO host began, “I can’t keep up with who’s on the sh*t list anymore. I can’t keep up, parody cannot keep up.”

Maher continued, “It was a sad week for the Trump nuts this week, the QAnon cult. Yesterday, March 4th — wink, wink — was supposed to be the day in QAnon nut-world when the real inauguration would take place and Trump would be revealed as the one true president, just as the ancient prophecy predicted in the Tweet of Revelations.”
