William Barr is the latest Trump sycophant to write a book and go on a rehabilitation tour. The former Attorney General has appeared on numerous news programs to discuss his time in the Trump White House.

Barr, who Trump has savaged in the media, is willing to take some shots at his former boss. Barr notes that Trump was erratic in his behavior and admits that he was responsible for the 1/6 insurrection. Still, when Barr was asked if he would vote for Trump again, he admitted that he would.
During a Today show interview, Savannah Guthrie asked, “Liz Cheney has said he is not fit to serve and should not be near the Oval Office again. Do you agree with that?” Barr responded, “Well, I certainly have made it clear, I don’t think he should be our nominee and I’m going to, you know, support somebody else for the nomination.”
Guthrie pressed, “If your choice is Donald Trump or whoever is running on the Democratic side, would you vote for him?” The former Attorney General replied, “Because I believe that the greatest threat to the country is the progressive agenda being pushed by the Democratic Party, it’s inconceivable to me that I wouldn’t vote for the Republican nominee.”
