Donald Trump came into the White House with control of the house and senate and many big plans. But his bid to repeal the Affordable Care Act failed. And the 45th president was never able to get his big, beautiful border wall built.
The former president also frequently held ‘infrastructure week.’ Trump had long talked big about how he was going to fix the country. He just never seemed to have a plan on how he would do so.
And Friday night, Joe Biden came very close to accomplishing his infrastructure plans. And during his Sunday presser, he couldn’t help but lob an insult Trump’s way.
The president opened the press conference by remarking, “Finally! Infrastructure week! I’m so happy to say that! Infrastructure week!”

“I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to suggest that we took a monumental step forward as a nation. We learned that our economy created 5.6 million jobs since we took office on January 20th. Recent unemployment rate of 4.6 percent, two full years earlier than the vast majority of economists projected that would happen. And we’ve just we’re just getting started.”
