Kamala Harris' campaign got a big boost in Houston, Texas, last night when Beyonce and other celebrities like Kelly Rowland and Willie Nelson joined her.
There was a stark contrast between the Harris and Trump rallies last night. Trump was three hours late for his rally in Michigan after running long with Joe Rogan. And Harris was holding a massive rally in Texas, boosting both her chances and that of Colin Allred, who is running against Red Cruz in the state.
And Beyonce told the assembled that she wasn't at the rally as a celebrity or politician, “I’m here as a mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in; a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies; a world where we are not divided."
Knowles-Carter closed her message:
