WATCH: Ben Shapiro Whitesplains Using the N-Word
On the latest edition of The Ben Shapiro Show, Right-wing commentator Ben Shapiro defended white people using the N-word as long as the version spoken ends with the letter A instead of an er.
His reasoning was that because Hunter Biden referred to his white attorney by the term in text messages, white people should be able to say it.
“Okay so here is the full story about Hunter Biden. Now, again, I will say that when it comes to the use of the n-word, there is a difference between calling a Black person an n-word with an -er at the end and, in jest, using the n-word that ends with an -a to describe a white person,” Shapiro said on Wednesday. “Now, the latter is also really crude and gross and stupid. It’s not racist in the same way it would be if you were shouting the n-word at a Black person which is the height of racism, obviously, in American society.”
Shapiro went on to quote The Daily Mail, which on Tuesday announced that it had obtained text message exchanges between Biden and his lawyer George Mesires from December 2018 in which the two men bantered using the racist term.
According to the Daily Mail, Biden and Mesires joked about having large genitalia. Biden also sent Miseres a meme showing former President Barack Obama hugging President Joe Biden. Emblazoned on the image – which the Daily Mail said was stored on Biden’s laptop – was the following:
‘Obama: Gonna miss you, man
‘Joe: Can I say it? Just this once?
‘Obama: *sigh* go ahead
‘Joe: You my n***a, Barack’
