Devin Nunes, who serves as the ranking Republican member of the House Intelligence Committee, has long been a pit-bull for Donald Trump. While questioning witnesses, the California congressman frequently misdirects questions away from the matter at hand. He has accused Democrats of seeking naked pictures of the President on numerous occasions.
The ranking member used similar tactics during today’s questioning of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman. Vindman created a viral moment during today’s testimony by correcting Nunes after the congressman referred to him as Mr.
Nunes began a contentious line of questioning by saying, “Mr. Vindman, you testified in your deposition that you did not know the whistleblower.”
The witness responded to Nunes’ question, “Ranking member, it’s lieutenant colonel Vindman, please.”

Nunes also argued that Vindman should take the 5th Amendment if he was not willing to answer questions about the whistleblower. The lawyer for the lieutenant colonel pointed out that his client had followed the governmental rules.
