WATCH: Alex Jones Falsly Claims That COVID-19 Vaccine Killed Hank Aaron

Hank Aaron, one of the most celebrated players in baseball history, died in his sleep on Thursday night. He was revered not only for his incredible play on the field, but also for his dignity off of it. The slugger had recently posted a picture of himself getting the COVID-19 vaccine to encourage others to get vaccinated.

That picture was all that noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones need. During his Friday afternoon broadcast, Jones claimed that the vaccine had killed Aaron.

The InfoWars host began, “One of the best baseball players ever, a great American, dead at 86. Deader than a box of nails. Deader than a hammer, deader than a doorknob, deader than a mountain of granite. Got that first shot, they said, ‘How you feeling?’ right after he took it. ‘Well, I’m feeling good,’ right after you took it.”

Jones continued:

“Now, a very small percentage of people have convulsions within 10, 15 minutes, that’s why you saw that one nurse pass out. But again, they did this, the National Health Service did this in England when they started a month and a half ago, and they had to suspend it within a few days because, again, old people were dying, young people were dying, and pregnant women were — they were having miscarriages at two months, six months, eight months, nine months. Some of the babies got saved at eight, nine months because it was just — your body’s like, ‘Whoa, I’m getting rid of everything.’ Everybody knows that, too.”
