On Saturday, an 18-year-old walked into a supermarket in a Black neighborhood of Buffalo and murdered a number of people. His manifesto, written before the shooting, was full of far-right-wing buzzwords. And it touched on a number of topics regularly discussed by Tucker Carlson. As always, the higher-ups at Fox News were silent about the issue. Jim Acosta wasn’t letting them off the hook, though. The CNN host ripped into Fox for refusing to do anything about their controversial host.
Acosta first played clips of Carlson pushing the Great Replacement Theory. He then read some of the items in the killer’s manifesto. “Those are just a few examples,” Acosta said. “When the New York Times recently ran an expose on Carlson’s record of promoting white nationalism and replacement theory, he tweeted out…a picture of himself holding up the article, the front page of the New York Times, and laughing about it.”
What Tucker Carlson is doing by peddling “replacement theory” and other white nationalist talking points is dangerous and we called it out today and asked the head of the NAACP what can be done about it. pic.twitter.com/NaTNezFiXK

The CNN host continued, “millions of people absorb this garbage on a regular basis on his program” and “Fox does nothing about it — they make millions of dollars off of it.”
