Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.'s VP, Says They May Join Forces With Donald Trump

During a recent appearance shared by End Tribalism in Politics, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s running mate Nicole Shanahan said her and RFK Jr. could join forces with Donald Trump.

RFK Jr. began his run for the 2024 presidential campaign as a Democrat, but considering that most Democrats despise him, the bid didn't go very far. The conspiracy theorist then decided to run as an Independent and chose billionaire Nicole Shanahan as his running mate.

Kennedy Jr.'s campaign has been fading for months and is now down to its lowest ebb, especially since it failed to make the ballot in several states. When Shanahan was asked where she goes from here, she remarked:

"There’s two options that we're looking at and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Waltz presidency because we draw more votes from Trump. Or we walk away right now and join forces with with Donald Trump and explain to our base why we're making this decision."

It is no big surprise to see this ticket making overtures towards the Trump campaign. And Trump, with his own campaign hemorrhaging momentum, was happy to hear about the possibility. He told CNN on Tuesday, "He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. I’ve known him for a very long time. I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly, I’d be open to it."
