Unperturbed Liz Cheney Trolls Trump For Losing 2020 Election (Again)

Donald Trump has mounted a full political attack on Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY), and she is firing back. There doesn’t seem to be anything the former president has less tolerance for than criticism, and she has plenty of it for him. In this case, she chose to troll Trump with a reminder of his categorizing another prominent GOP figure as a ‘loser,’ hinting to Trump that perhaps he’s a better fit for that label.

Trump has been widely criticized for his attacks on Senator John McCain, who he referred to as a loser, addressing McCain’s time as a prisoner in a POW camp. “I like people who weren’t captured,” Trump infamously declared.
Well, now another former Republican President, George W. Bush, who unlike Trump, served two terms, has chosen to openly oppose Trump in the matter of Liz Cheney. Trump has supported a primary to remove Cheney from office since she supported impeaching him — but Bush will be speaking at a rally for Cheney next month. It’s one more move that emphasizes how the party has divided into two factions: the all-Trump, and the no-Trump.

In a gloating tweet following this announcement, and following the news that the Arizona audit only confirmed, once more, that Joe Biden won the state and the presidency, Cheney tweeted a photo of Bush, commenting, “I like Republican presidents who win re-election.” After all, how many times can the same candidate lose the same election before he lets the audits, recounts, and false claims go?
