Unacceptable: Ill. Governor Blasts Trump Over Airport Lines

There have been a number of different suggestions on how to keep COVID-19 from spreading across the United States. Many of these ideas have to do with closing schools, avoiding large crowds and easy access to testing.

Donald Trump decided that the best way to stop the spread in the United States was to bans travelers coming in from most European countries. This has led to long lines at airports like Chicago’s O’Hare. On Saturday, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker slammed the President and told him something must be done.

Pritzker took to Twitter writing, “The crowds & lines O’Hare are unacceptable & need to be addressed immediately. Donald Trump and Mike Pence, since this is the only communication medium you pay attention to—you need to do something NOW. These crowds are waiting to get through customs which is under federal jurisdiction.”

The Illinois Governor continued, “To the frustrated people trying to get home, I have spoken with the mayor and our Senators and we are working together to get the federal government to act to solve this. We will do everything within our power to get relief. The Federal Government needs to get its sh*t together, now.”
