Two Separate Shooting Incidents Leave 20 Injured in Milwaukee

Gun violence is on the rise in America, exemplified by three major shootings in just the last two days that have killed at least ten people in Buffalo and injured 20 in Milwaukee.

Police were on the scene at a grocery store in Buffalo where an 18-year-old was taken into custody without incident after he allegedly livestreamed himself shooting victims with an AR-15 rifle in a Tops Friendly Market. Aside from the ten people who were confirmed dead at press time, police say multiple others were injured and those numbers were not yet available.

The Milwaukee Bucks have canceled a watch party for Sunday’s NBA Playoff Game 7 against the Boston Celtics after 21 people were injured in three separate shootings near an entertainment district in downtown Milwaukee at the end of the team’s Game 6 Eastern Conference semifinals loss Friday night. All of the gunfire happened blocks from the arena where the Bucks lost to the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA’s Eastern Conference semi-finals. All of the victims are expected to survive.
