Twitter Roasts Meghan McCain for Toxic Caucacity
Twitter erupted into a firestorm on Wednesday after The View host Meghan McCain complained that the American Recovery Plan Act of 2021 providing financial assistance to Black farmers was unfair to white people.

“We’re going to a place where even if [white] people need money, even if [white] people are qualified to get into Ivy Leagues, race and gender is more important than your skill qualifications, the content of your character. It is not what Martin Luther King Jr. preached. I think this is a very, very slippery slope,” said McCain.
She suggested that one of the shows white panelists should quit in order to make room for an Asian-American.
“I think this is just the natural progression of identity politics. The View is 25 years old next year. We’ve only had one Asian American host co-host this show. So does that mean that one of us should be leaving at some point because there’s not enough representation? We’re talking about is identity politics more important than qualifications for a job? And I think that’s a question going forward that the progressive left is going to have to reconcile,” McCain said.

The Internet had some things to say about McCain, whose media identity is based solely on her family name.
Maybe McCain should be the one to leave?
Great idea! I have a suggestion on who should be replaced! pic.twitter.com/J8aqhpeDEk

I GUARANTEE they could find several million Asian women more qualified than Meghan Mccain to host the View.

“What are her qualifications for anything???” one Twitter user exclaimed.

“So qualifications for the job, such as being the daughter of a Senator?” wrote another, followed by jokes that McCain’s hairstylist also holds a grudge. “And having a weird hairdo.”

If she is proposing the hosts be selected based only on qualifications, she best get busy updating that resume because there are literally hordes of more qualified people of all races, shapes and sizes that have more than “John McCain is my daddy” to go on.

That's what stood out to me.

“I will never hate anyone as much as The View‘s hairstylist hates Meghan McCain,” one on-looker quipped.
“The makeup artist may harbor some resentment too,” someone replied.

The reasons they hate her are clear. Why she keeps employing them is the question

Is… is Meghan McCain a Klingon?

It is all too obvious who is engaging in identity politics.
It’s the OG of idpol.
