Twitter Is The Enemy, And Must Be Defeated, Asserts Marjorie Taylor Greene After Being Kicked Off The Platform

Twitter is once agin getting backlash for actually enforcing their terms of service in the case of a high-profile politician who just can’t seem to take multiple warnings seriously enough. It’s been almost a year since Donald Trump, who was still the President at the time, was removed from the platform for inciting violence, and with that anniversary only days away, Marjorie Taylor Greene also joins him in a permanent ban.

Fortunately for Greene, she’s already a member of several other social media sites that specifically cater to right-wing propaganda and rhetoric, whereas Trump found himself completely deplatformed. Thus, unable to post a rant on the major social media platform, she headed to Gettr instead, where she let loose with an unhinged attack that seemed to suggest she has plans to target Twitter.

When Maxine Waters can go to the streets and threaten violence on Twitter, Kamala and Ilhan can bail out rioters on Twitter, and Chief spokesman for terrorist IRGC can tweet mourning Soleimani but I get suspended for tweeting VAERS statistics, Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth.

That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.

Suddenly declaring that America doesn’t need Twitter only after she’s finally managed to get kicked off the platform carries some big ‘sour grapes’ energy, but Greene seems to be echoing threats similar to those Trump made when Twitter held him to the same platform rules that are enforced on everyone else on the site. The former president’s threats to take down social media companies never came to fruition, of course.

Greene hasn’t laid out an exact plan for how she aims to ‘defeat’ Twitter, just angry bluster, but the platform has been a key resource for her to share conspiracy theories and political rants with her fans, and losing it could seriously affect her reach.
