Kim Guilfoyle raised eyebrows (something she can’t do herself) in August 2020 during the Republican National Convention when her speech went viral for all of the wrong reasons. Standing at the podium and apparently projecting to the opposite end of the universe, Guilfoyle ended the speech by raising her arms in an oddly stiff gesture and proclaiming “The best is yet to come!”, a catchphrase others in the GOP have repeated to equally cringeworthy results, while it was widely mocked and parodied all over the internet by everyone else.
Guilfoyle and her boyfriend, Donald Trump, Jr., appeared on stage together at the Save America Rally on January 6th to whip the crowd into a frenzy. Guilfoyle hasn’t tweeted any acknowledgement of what happened after they left the stage, but a video taken in a tent afterwards shows them clearly enjoying themselves despite the growing violence occurring not far away from where they were partying.
Apparently unfazed by Trump Senior’s second impeachment, Junior and Guilfoyle decided to poke a little fun at themselves and make their own version of the RNC video. But since Republicans aren’t funny, the video is just as cringey as the original, except worse, because Don Jr. is hamming up it an American Flag blazer and Guilfoyle is…Guilfoyle.

Meanwhile, there’s something else going on that might not be so funny to the two lovebirds.

Trump Jr. is also under criminal investigation in New York, so Guilfoyle is possibly facing charges herself thanks to her unlimited access to the Trump family, including entry inside the White House. The couple has said they plan to move to Florida after Wednesday, as they’ve become pariahs in New York like his sister Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner. Along with their brother Eric, they face prosecution in New York connected to their activities with the Trump Organization and other business dealings related to the Trump family.
