Tucker Carlson Slams Dan Crenshaw as Eyepatch McCain For His Support of Ukraine [VIDEO]

Russia has been an enemy of the United States for decades. There are a number of Republicans, however, who seem to be fond of the country. This was recently clear when a number of GOP lawmakers voted against a bill that would help fund Ukraine’s defense efforts.

Some Republicans claimed that they can’t support the country while Americans can’t buy baby food. The baby food shortage, however, has nothing to do with money. Dan Crenshaw recently noted this fact while chiding his colleagues for failing to support Ukraine. This led to Tucker Carlson ripping Crenshaw as “eyepatch McCain.”

Crenshaw said of the baby food argument, “And my response to that is, you know how much baby formula you can buy with 40 billion dollars? None, none because it’s not a money issue, it’s a manufacturing issue…”

In a segment with pro-Russia commentator Tulsi Gabbard, Carlson whined, “Why is Congress so focused on Ukraine but you can’t find baby formula? According to congressman Dan Crenshaw of Texas, asking questions like that, or really any questions at all, thinking you are a citizen, makes you ‘pro-Russia.’”

Gabbard weighed in, “There is no imminent threat, or even long-term threat of Russia invading Finland or Sweden. Russia can barely hold on to a very small sliver of Ukraine right now.”

The disingenuous host closed the segment, “You know, the more I think about it, it takes a lot of gall for eyepatch McCain to attack moms who are worried about baby formula as pro-Russia.”
