Tucker Carlson: If I Warned That White Supremacy Was a Real Threat, My Staff Would Quit in Protest
Just weeks ago, a mob stormed the US Capitol looking to do harm to lawmakers. Among the mob were a number of white supremacists. These groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers had been egged on and encouraged by Donald Trump through out his presidency.
The Fox host asked, “American citizens are more dangerous than foreign terrorists?” Carlson then mimicked critics of the network saying, “Fox News is so extreme.”

He then continued, “No show on this channel would ever put that on the air. And if anyone did, people would resign in protest because that is completely untrue and completely reckless.”
Of course, Carlson himself has employed white supremacists. Top writer for his show, Blake Neff, resigned after his racist and sexist posts were revealed by CNN. Carlson said at the time
“First, what Neff wrote anonymously was wrong. We don’t endorse those words, they have no connection to the show. We often say that because we mean it – we will continue to defend that principal, often alone among national news programs, because it is essential. Nothing is more important. Blake fell short of that standard and he has paid a very heavy price for it.”
