Donald Trump has made it very clear he’s no fan of actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, whose most infamous creation, Borat Sagdiev, has done more to expose the weaknesses of the Trump campaign than any real investigative journalists. Trump crony Rudy Giuliani will never outlive the shaming he received when his scene with an actress portraying Borat’s 15-year-old daughter leaked early, showing the former New York City Mayor in quite the compromising position. Baron Cohen, as Borat, “defended” Giuliani in a video. And now he’s responded as himself to the criticisms he’s heard from Trump.
Asked if he’d seen the second Borat film, Trump replied, “I don’t know what happened. But years ago, you know, he (Baron Cohen) tried to scam me and I was the only one who said no way. That’s a phony guy and I don’t find him funny.” He followed up those comments by saying, “That’s a phony guy. And I don’t find him funny… To me, he was a creep.”
Baron Cohen responded that the entire world thinks Trump is a “buffoon” and offered him an acting job once his current gig ends.
Donald—I appreciate the free publicity for Borat! I admit, I don’t find you funny either. But yet the whole world laughs at you.
I’m always looking for people to play racist buffoons, and you’ll need a job after Jan. 20. Let’s talk!https://t.co/itWnhJ8TQF

Baron Cohen dresses up as Trump in the “Subsequent Moviefilm” for one scene in the film, disguised in a fat suit modeled after Trump in order to sneak into a convention where Mike Pence is giving a speech. Baron Cohen told The New York Times prior to the “Borat 2” release that his Trump transformation required a 56-inch fat suit and five hours of makeup and prosthetic application.
The film is now streaming on Amazon Prime, but it’s doubtful Trump will be screening it anytime soon.
