Donald Trump’s numerous golf clubs and hotels have hosted guests that could be considered anything from interesting to controversial. The President’s DC hotel is often visited by companies that may be hoping to curry favor from Trump. The Mar-a-Lago club reportedly paid host to potential Chinese spies.
Trump’s Doral Beach club is the latest to be hosting an event that may not exactly be considered presidential. This weekend, the Doral club will play host to a golf tournament organized by The Shadow Cabaret, a strip club in the Miami area.
The club has been advertising the event using both the President’s name and the Trump family crest. The prices for the event run from $450 for a single golfer to $1600 for a foursome. Players can add on amenities like bottle service, hotel stays and VIP room access.
The club’s marketing director, Emanuele Mancuso, said the club wasn’t looking to make any political statement. He told the Washington Post, “The golfers are VIPs. They deserve a VIP environment.”
He also said that the event would not be risque at all. “They’re going to be clothed the whole time,” Mancuso continued. “At the venue is different.”
Once the event moves from the actual golf course over to the strip club, however, clothing will be removed. According to the Shadow Caberet, the event will feature a very tasteful burlesque show.
Technically Trump no longer is in charge of the Doral Club as he has left business activities to his sons, Don Jr. and Eric.
