Trumpers Really Don’t Know The Election Is Over — ‘Four More Years’ Chant At Mike Pence’s Georgia Rally
Donald Trump’s core fan base are very convinced by his lies about the election. It’s clear that a portion of them truly believe the election will actually be overturned and that Trump still has a path to victory — even as votes for Joe Biden are certified in all the swing states the Trump team has contested. In fact, at a rally Mike Pence held in Georgia, the crowd broke into a cheer, demanding “four more years.”
Georgia Republicans have called for White House support for Kelly Loeffler and David Purdue, Senate candidates who will have their chance in special elections held in January. However, some of Trump’s rhetoric about election fraud could affect voter turnout. He has specifically attacked Georgia elections.
On Friday, Mike Pence held a rally in Georgia, ostensibly for Loeffler and Purdue. However, as you can hear in the clips below, Pence calls it a Trump rally, and the crowd chants for “four more years.”

As you can see in the second short clip above, this rally — a Trump rally, or a GOP Senate rally? — also served as an airing ground for conspiracy theories about the outcome of the 2020 election — the very thing that some GOP officials fear will cost them the Senate, if voters decide that the outcome is ‘rigged’ and not worth the bother to show up again.
According to Politico, polls show that 70% of Republicans do not think the election was free and fair, and just over a third of Republican voters still believe that the results will be overturned in Trump’s favor. That subset appears to have shown up for Pence’s rally.
