Trumper Who Chartered Buses to DC & Bragged About ‘Storming the Capitol at 58’ Accepts Jan 6th Plea Deal
Eight months nearly to the day after the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, nearly 640 people have been charged with their roles in the riots, including the infamous QAnon Shaman, Jacob Chansley, who has pled guilty to charges that could lead to up to 20 years in a federal prison.
Now another Trump supporter has pleaded guilty, this time to a misdemeanor charge, in the U.S. Capitol riot.
Former Old Forge, PA, school director Frank Scavo, who bragged about being able to “storm the Capitol” at his age (58), is cooperating with federal authorities after his local paper did a little extra digging into his story about his group’s trip. Scavo chartered four buses from Pennsylvania to Washington, D.C., carrying about 200 Pennsylvania residents on the trip he organized. Upon his return home from the riots, Scavo initially lied to the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, saying that he and his group “didn’t see what was going on inside the Capitol.” But the news outlet spotted Scavo in news photographs inside the Capitol building.

Video and news photographs showed him with other Trump supporters during the riot. “Stormed the f*cking Capitol of the f*cking United States at 58 years old,” Scavo says in one clip. “What the f*ck is wrong with America?”
"This is top-secret shit. We're in the Capitol. Stormed the fucking Capitol of the fucking United States at 58 years old.”

Scavo’s plea deal requires him to cooperate with federal authorities. He could potentially provide useful information about other Pennsylvania residents who traveled on his buses and unlawfully entered the Capitol building. His attorney said Scavo was “ever regretful of having committed this crime.” The government will dismiss three other counts at sentencing as part of his plea deal.
[UPDATE] Frank Scavo has pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor of Parading, Demonstrating or Picketing in a Capitol Building w/max penalty of 6 months in jail. This is the standard plea deal for non-violent offenders. #SeditionTrack https://t.co/BKKLWLOogy
