Trump to Sessions: You Ruined Many Lives

Donald Trump has shown himself to be the kind of man who will punish former friends for any perceived slight. And to the President, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions wronged him by not shutting down the Mueller Investigation from the start.

Sessions has been trying to get his political life back in order and will face fellow Republican Tommy Tuberville for the opportunity to run for an Alabama senate seat. Trump has shown that he will not make this race easy for his former friend. He recently accused Sessions of “ruining many lives.”

The two men have been engaged in a Twitter battle over the last week. Sessions took umbrage when he saw that Trump had endorsed his opponent.

Yesterday, Sessions asked the President to remember how they became close in the first place. The former Alabama lawmaker was the first sitting member of the Senate to endorse Trump. “Mr. President, Alabama can and does trust me, as do conservatives across the country,” he wrote. “Perhaps you’ve forgotten. They trusted me when I stepped out and put that trust on the line for you.”

Trump was having none of it. “Jeff, you had your chance & you blew it,” he responded. “Recused yourself ON DAY ONE (you never told me of a problem), and ran for the hills. You had no courage, & ruined many lives. The dirty cops, & others, got caught by better & stronger people than you.”

The President continued, “Hopefully this slime will pay a big price. You should drop out of the race & pray that super liberal Doug Jones, a weak & pathetic puppet for Crazy Nancy Pelosi & Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, gets beaten badly. He voted for impeachment based on “ZERO”. Disgraced Alabama. Coach Tommy Tuberville will be a GREAT Senator!”

A runoff between Sessions and Tuberville is set to take place on July 14th.
