Trump Throws Tantrum Because Nobody Talked About Him at Joint Address
President Joe Biden gave his first Joint Address to Congress on Wednesday night, and while it wasn’t an official State of the Union, it was still a historic moment as the President addressed the two women who were sitting behind him. With a whopping 85% approval rating for his performance, it’s clear President Biden’s message of hope reached the people who didn’t vote for him as well as the people who did.
The President touched on many of the issues facing the American people, but one thing he didn’t do was use his podium as a pulpit for anything hateful. And that extended to his predecessor, who went unmentioned in the well-received speech.
And the former guy got all big mad.
Thursday morning, Trump called into Fox Business and whined to host Maria Bartiromo that President Biden was being “ungracious” by not acknowledging the “accomplishments” of the Trump administration in his speech.
Incorporating his usual projection language, the twice-impeached two-time loser of the Popular Vote complained he wasn’t getting the credit for something he didn’t actually do. “Obviously they’re very ungracious people,” Trump sputtered. “I did the vaccine. They like to take the vaccine. But even the fake news isn’t giving them credit for that. We did the vaccine, saved tens of millions of lives throughout the world by coming up with a vaccine.”
“At a recent speech to donors, Donald Trump was reduced to mocking his successor as “Saintly Joe Biden,” perhaps the feeblest moment in his decades-long career of schoolyard taunts.” 😂 @jonathanchait https://t.co/RCWP9kws8b

And then Twitter was all Girl, No.
Nancy Pelosi teared up at Biden’s speech.
Nancy Pelosi teared up Trump’s speech.
See the difference?

Trump is a malignant narcissist, career criminal, & traitor. He wanted to steal the election so as to stay in power & avoid prosecution. He still poses a real & present danger to our democracy. Without fear or favor he & his accomplices must be timely investigated & prosecuted.
