Trump Suggests That SNL Is ‘Colluding’ with ‘of course Russia’

As if it was a Saturday Night Live skit in itself, President Trump turned to Twitter early this morning to complain about the award-winning comedy sketch show, as well as other ‘Late Night Shows,’ even going as far as suggesting that they were “colluding” with “of course Russia”.

“It’s truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live, not funny/no talent, can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of “the other side.” Like an advertisement without consequences. Same with Late Night Shows.”

“Should Federal Election Commission and/or FCC look into this? There must be Collusion with the Democrats and, of course, Russia! Such one sided media coverage, most of it Fake News. Hard to believe I won and am winning. Approval Rating 52%, 93% with Republicans. Sorry! #MAGA,” Trump tweeted.

Trump, who has attacked both Saturday Night Live and late night television on more are than one occasion in the past, doesn’t appear to be referencing a specific episode, especially since SNL was a rerun last night.

In the midst of an almost 2-year-long investigation by Robert Mueller and the special counsel’s office for possibly colluding with Russia, Trump’s tweet toward network television appears to be an effort to deflect blame towards others. Those on Twitter appear to be more amused than concerned, however:
