Trump Suggests FBI, DOJ Are Involved in Voter Fraud

Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo gave Donald Trump 45 minutes on her “Sunday Morning Futures” show to rant and rave with his unsubstantiated conspiracy theories about how the election was stolen from him. The appearance essentially was a monologue in which Trump voiced every grievance he has tweeted about since losing the election to President-elect Joe Biden.

Bartiromo’s questions served as launching pads for Trump to launch into tirades about different subtopics. “Where is the DOJ and FBI in all of this, Mr. President? You have laid out some serious charges here. Shouldn’t this be something the FBI is investigating? Are they?”

“Missing in action,” Trump said. “I have no idea where they are. I ask ‘are they looking at it?’ Everyone says ‘yes, they’re looking at it.’ You would think that if you were in the FBI, the Department of Justice, this would be the biggest thing you could be looking at. Where are they? I’ve not seen anything. They just keep moving along and they go on to the next president.”

Not only did he complain that his baseless claims, which have been rejected by multiple courts, aren’t being investigated by federal authorities he went on to suggest that the FBI and Department of Justice might somehow be involved in perpetrating a massive fraud scheme to throw the election to Biden.

“This is total fraud,” Trump said. “And how the FBI and Department of Justice – I don’t know, maybe they’re involved. But how people are allowed to get away with this stuff is unbelievable. This election was rigged. This election was a total fraud.”
