Mike Bloomberg, who was the Mayor of New York City from 2002 to the end of 2013, has always found a way to get under Donald Trump’s skin. The self made billionaire, then registered as an independent, blasted the President as a joke during the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
The media tycoon has also announced he will be seeking the Democratic nomination in 2020. While he’s not a favorite to win the nomination, he plans on spending plenty of money. On Sunday morning, Trump ripped Bloomberg for, what he says, is a waste of time and money.
The President began, “Many of the ads you are watching were paid for by Mini Mike Bloomberg. He is going nowhere, just wasting his money, but he is getting the DNC to rig the election against Crazy Bernie, something they wouldn’t do for Cory Booker and others. They are doing it to Bernie again, 2016.”
Trump continued with a joke about Bloomberg’s height, “Mini Mike is now negotiating both to get on the Democrat Primary debate stage, and to have the right to stand on boxes, or a lift, during the debates. This is sometimes done, but really not fair!”
And the President closed, “Mini Mike is part of the Fake News. They are all working together. In fact, Bloomberg isn’t covering himself (too boring to do), or other Dems. Only Trump. That sounds fair! It’s all the Fake News Media, and that’s why nobody believes in them any more.”
Regardless of whether he wins the nomination or not, Bloomberg has vowed to spend one billion dollars to help defeat Trump.
