During his rally in Atlanta, Georgia last night, Donald Trump repeatedly blasted the state's popular Republican Governor Brian Kemp.
One of the things that makes Donald Trump a poor political candidate is that he can't let anything he perceives as a slight go. So despite the fact that he likely needs to win the state of Georgia in order to win November's election, he couldn't help but bash a man who is well-liked by many Red voters.
On Saturday, Donald Trump held a rally at the same Georgia State gym where Kamala Harris held a raucous rally last week. And rather than ripping Democrats, Trump spent an awful lot of time on Kemp, who he blames for not helping him overturn the 2020 election results.
Trump got started on Truth Social before the rally, writing, "Brian Kemp should focus his efforts on fighting Crime, not fighting Unity and the Republican Party! His Crime Rate in Georgia is terrible, his Crime Rate in Atlanta is the worst, and his Economy is average."
During the event, Trump also remarked, "He’s a bad guy. He’s a disloyal guy. And he's a very average governor. Little Brian, little Brian Kemp. Bad guy."
The Georgia Governor shared Trump's message on social media, writing, "My focus is on winning this November and saving our country from Kamala Harris and the Democrats - not engaging in petty personal insults, attacking fellow Republicans, or dwelling on the past. You should do the same, Mr. President, and leave my family out of it."
