On Thursday night, the Democrats capped their 4 night Democratic National Convention. While the format was significantly different than usual, the event largely went off without a hit. And of course, Donald Trump was not happy about the success of the event.
He appeared on Sean Hannity’s show Thursday night in an attempt to steal focus away from the event. He also spent much of the week tweeting about nonsense. But his most nonsensical claim came yesterday when he wrote that people needed to show ID to get into the virtual convention.
Trump wrote, “To get into the Democrat National Convention, you must have an ID card with a picture…Yet the Democrats refuse to do this when it come to your very important VOTE! Gee, I wonder WHY???”
It seems like the President was trying to make a claim about potential fraud and voting by mail. The nonsensical message, however, only served in making his seem completely disconnected from reality.
