Trump Once Again Insists He’ll Win Election After MAGA Rallies
The Million MAGA March on Saturday wasn’t exactly the success the planners expected, with only a few thousand die-hard Proud Boys and Red Hats gathering near the White House. Parroting the messaging they’ve been receiving from Trump over the last week since the election was called for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the rally attendees chanted obscenities against Biden and insisted there would be recounts and a second Trump term.
Buoyed by the crowds and the videos they posted on social media, Trump himself seemed to have gotten a second wind of energy to keep pushing the false hope that he will somehow overturn enough state results to reverse the final numbers, despite more than nine different judges denying the Trump campaign’s requests for recounts. No voter fraud has been uncovered, and Trump himself shared an odd tweet confirmed the election was the most secure in history, except for the “parts the Democrats rigged”.
Late Saturday, upon returning from his golf game, Trump retweeted several videos taken during the day’s rallies and echoed the sentiments of his fanbase. He began his Tweetstorm by saying: “People are not going to stand for having this Election stolen from them by a privately owned Radical Left company, Dominion, and many other reasons!”
Despite no proof as usual for his accusations of fraud, he followed that by tweeting “we will win!” before adding: “Hundreds of thousands of people showing their support in D.C. They will not stand for a Rigged and Corrupt Election!”
Final crowd tallies were not available Saturday evening, but were estimated at somewhere in the lower thousands.
