Trump Mocks Haley After Koch Bros. Group Stops Giving Her Money

Nikki Haley remains in the race for the Republican nomination, but things are not going well for her. This weekend's primary was in South Carolina, where Haley once served as Governor, and she lost by nearly 20%.

The Republican hopeful could still nab the nomination if something is to happen to Donald Trump, but important groups may not be willing to support her race if she has no chance at winning. That is seemingly what's happening with the Koch brothers-funded Americans for Prosperity Action group.

The organization wrote in an email to staff, "Nikki Haley has shown us again and again that we made the right decision in supporting her candidacy and she continues to have our strong endorsement."

The message continued, "She has made it clear that she will continue to fight, and we wholeheartedly support her in this effort. But given the challenges in the primary states ahead we don't believe any outside group can make a material difference to widen her path to victory."

A tickled Trump was more than happy to mock his opponent for her bad fortune. He wrote, "Americans for no prosperity have just stated that Haley has no chance to win, and they will stop funding her campaign, effective immediately. What a waste of money!"
