Trump Lawyer Jenna Ellis: I’m Trying to Overturn the Election Because Jesus Wants Me To
Just a few short weeks ago, Donald Trump had an “elite strike force of lawyers who were going to help him overturn the election results. Sidney Powell, though, was too crazy for even Team Trump and she was summarily dismissed. And Rudy Giuliani, the leader of the crew, is now in a Maryland hospital due to COVID-19.
So that leaves Jenna Ellis as the last person standing. A relative newcomer to the scene, Ellis went viral for getting in a feud with Marge Simpson. The San Diego lawyer, however, certainly believes in the righteousness of her cause. She recently said that she is doing God’s work by attempting to subvert the election.
Ellis made the comments during an appearance on the Fox Business Network. “You know, my life is in service and honor to the Lord Jesus Christ,” she told host Charles Payne. “And so whatever anybody else says really doesn’t bother me. I hope that I can be a light and inspiration to everyone else that no matter what anyone else says about you, it’s all about just who you are as a person and made in the image of God and in Christ.”
“And that’s ultimately at the end of the day, as long as I know that I’m pursuing truth and I’m doing the right thing for God and my country, that’s all that matters,” Ellis continued. “So that’s what gives me my optimism and my hope.”
