Trump Launches His Official Former Guy Website

How much does Donald Trump need, crave and demand the spotlight? So much so that crashes weddings at his Mar-a-Lago retirement home and refuses to hang up when Fox News hosts say “I know your time is valuable and you have to go” as they try to end his incessant call-ins to their shows.

Trump also has just launched what he calls his “official” website, www.45office.com. The website’s home page features a large format slideshow of photos showing Trump with wife Melania and him at various events that took place during his presidency. The welcome message reads: “The Office of Donald J. Trump is committed to preserving the magnificent legacy of the Trump Administration, while at the same time advancing the America First agenda. Through civic engagement and public activism, the Office of Donald J. Trump will strive to inform, educate, and inspire Americans from all walks of life as we seek to build a truly great American Future. Through this office, President Trump will remain a tireless champion for the hardworking men and women of our great country – and for their right to live in safety, dignity, prosperity, and peace.”

Click the About page and you’re presented with what basically is the text of any of his campaign speeches, extolling his support for the “forgotten men and women” of America, support for those in uniform, etc., etc. Scroll down and you’re treated to the Melania portion of the website, which essentially is a copy-and-paste from her “Be Best” website.

Then there’s the Contact page. That’s where you can complete the online form to request that either one or both of the Florida retirees appear at your event or record a message. While neither Donald nor Melania has ever been known to do anything for free, there’s no direct ask on the page for compensation.

The website pages referencing Trump’s two impeachments, corruption scandals, abusive rhetoric and insurrectionist riot incitement appear to still be under construction.
