Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly have never been all that close. After tough questioning from Kelly during a 2015 debate, Trump claimed that the newswoman was probably on her period.
Kelly has had a rough time since leaving Fox News and now hosts a show on Sirius XM. She also moderated the most recent Republican debate on News Nation. Trump was not a fan of her performance. In fact, he called her the biggest loser of the event.
Trump posted on Truth Social, "So many people are asking what I thought of history’s lowest rated “presidential” debate, & how would I rate the players. It’s so easy to be a critic, but who on this subject would be better than me. To begin with, I thought Ron DeSanctimonious was terrible, with his bobble head facial movements & his walking on eggs, but that Sloppy Chris Christie was worse."
Trump then turned to the former Fox-host, opining, "The biggest loser was Megyn Kelly, what the hell happened to her? She lost whatever she once had, which wasn’t very much. Some things never change!"
Strangely, Trump is still angry with Kelly. If anything, she has become much more MAGA since departing from major television networks. Still, Trump feels that any slight against him requires a life-long feud.
