Trump Claims to Have Sooo Many Good Witnesses Who Could End ‘Witch Hunt’ Against Him

The January 6th Committee decided that it would be best to televise hearings related to their findings. The move looks to be a success so far. Now nearly one in five Republicans feel that Trump should face charges for his actions leading up to the riots.

Trump knows that the hearings have been damaging to him and he would very much like them to stop. Since he can’t do anything about that, the former President has instead resorted to throwing tantrums. During a weekend tirade, he complained about all the good witnesses he has that won’t be asked to testify.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “I have sooo many witnesses to everything good, but the highly partisan and one sided Unselect Committee of political hacks has not (sic) interest in hearing or seeing them. This Witch Hunt could be ended quickly if they did.”
Of course, the most damaging testimonies against Trump have come from people within his inner circle. It is not clear who he thinks could be a reputable source to refute the claims against him.
