While Donald Trump has had frosty relationships with important figures throughout the world, the one with Queen Elizabeth seems solid. Just last week, the Queen invited the president to meet with her in London. This was the second time that Trump has met with the Royal Family.
While the president did not meet with the new Mother, Megan Markle, he did meet with Princes and the Queen. According to Trump, he and the Queen had a magnificent conversation where he left her completely charmed.
The president made the comments while appearing on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show. He told the host, “The meeting with the queen was incredible. I think I can say I really got to know her because I sat with her many times and we had automatic chemistry, you understand that feeling, it’s a good feeling.”
Trump than became even more complimentary to himself. “There are those that say they have never seen the queen have a better time, a more animated time,” he told Ingraham. “We had a period where we were talking solid, straight, I didn’t even know who the other people at the table were, never spoke to them. We just had a great time together.”
