Donald Trump and Joe Biden had both planned on giving a speech on January 6th. But only one of those men helped to incite the violence that occurred on that day last year.
While Trump is now being advised by people like Jason Miller and Stephen Miller, someone with some sense must have gotten to him. The former president announced on Tuesday that he will no longer be speaking on Thursday.
Trump released a statement that read:
“In light of the total bias and dishonesty of the January 6th Unselect Committee of Democrats, two failed Republicans and the Fake News Media, I am canceling the January 6th press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday and instead will discuss many of those important topics at my rally on Saturday, January 15h in Arizona – it will be a big crowd!
Just in: Trump cancels his press conference planned for 1/6, the anniversary of the Capitol riot, and blames the committee.
