President Donald Trump has once again stoked the flames of war and this time he did it while surrounded by a room full of military leaders.
The 45th POTUS was hosting a dinner at the White House on Thursday when he made an ambiguous statement about “the calm before the storm.”
“You guys know what this represents? Maybe it’s the calm before the storm,” Trump said during his Thursday night photo op. He made the statement immediately after meeting with top military commanders.
When reporters attending the event asked what the President’s comment meant, Trump replied: “It could be, the calm, the calm before the storm.”
When pressed to answer if his remark was a reference to the ongoing war against ISIS, he offered another ambiguous statement.
“We have the world’s great military people in this room, I will tell you that. And uh, we’re gonna have a great evening, thank you all for coming.”
The President was then pressed to explain his statement to which he replied, “You’ll find out.” Asked one more time for a hint, the President said, Thank you everybody,” before ending the conversation.
The White House is outright refusing to explain the President’s statement.
Welcome to the Red State…
