Trump Calls Kushner “My Star”, Brags About How They Have Reduced Crime
Donald Trump has an awful lot of confidence in his Son-in-Law Jared Kushner. The President has tasked the adviser with goals like making peace in the Middle East and being part of the White House response to COVID-19. The returns on those assignments have been less than stellar.
Kushner also joined his Father-in-Law for a Tuesday roundtable discussion with police leaders from around the country. The adviser told the officers that he will work together with them to craft solutions. Following Kushner’s statements, Trump fondly called him, “my star.”
Trump began the discussion by talking about how crime has dropped in 2020. “But this has been a very strong year for less crime,” he said. “Let’s put it that way: less crime. And there’s a reason for less crime, and it’s because we have great law enforcement. I’m very proud of them.”
Critics would say the reduction in crime is due to the fact that COVID restrictions have kept everyone indoors.
ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT PEOPLE STAYING HOME UNDER STAY AT HOME ORDERS HELPED LOWER CRIME NUMBERS.
SHOCKED!!! I AM SHOCKED!!!

The President then allowed his Son-in-Law to say a few words. Kushner told the officers:
“We’ve really, over the last three and a half years, have had the opportunity to grow very close with law enforcement. We worked very closely together to bring forward to this country criminal justice reform. The law enforcement community heard the cries from the community, saw the injustices in the system that needed to be fixed, and they responded by coming together to fix it. And it’s been a great partnership to do that.”
Trump then replied, “Thank you, Jared. Thank you. My star.”
