Trump Calls Into Gettysburg Meeting, Begs For Results to be Overturned

Each day, more Republicans come out to say that Joe Biden is the victor and that Donald Trump should concede. Even many of his loyal sycophants at Fox News have said the election was over. The president, however, seems to be completely unwilling to accept the results.

Despite losing case after case in the state, Trump’s legal team was in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania today. The president was initially supposed to be at the event in person. While he cancelled his visit, Trump called into the meeting and begged for the election results to be overturned.

As Rudy Giuliani held his phone up to a microphone, Trump regurgitated many of the ridiculous claims he’s been making for weeks.

Trump told the Pennsylvania Republicans, “This election was lost by the Democrats. They cheated. It was a fraudulent election. I want to thank everyone for being there.” The Trump supporters in the building clapped and cheered. The president continued, We have to turn the election over. All we need is some judge to listen to it properly.”

Of course, Trump will not be getting his way this time around. On Tuesday, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf tweeted, “Today the Pennsylvania State Department certified the results of the November 3 election in Pennsylvania for president and vice president of the United States. As required by federal law, I’ve signed the Certificate of Ascertainment for the slate of electors for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”
