President Donald Trump on Thursday pointed to various “signs” that led to the Florida massacre which claimed the lives of 17 high school students and injured others. During his various tweet the President has failed to mention the gun used to killed those students, an AR-15.
So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!

“So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!” Trump tweeted.
It wasn’t the first tweet sent by the President, he also offered meaningless “thoughts and prayers” to the families members and friends of the victims. Thoughts and prayers have been a major talking point for members of the GOP who accept millions of dollars per year in campaign contributions from the NRA.
My prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible Florida shooting. No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school.

Trump is expected to address the shooting on Thursday, more than 24 hours after the tragedy occurred. In comparison, President Obama made it a habit to immediately address the massive number of school shootings occurring regularly in the United States.
White House officials spoke about addressing the nation on Wednesday night but ultimately decided to sit on the issue for another day.
Trump’s aides are still determining when President Trump will appear in the Parkland community, a location only 50 miles away from his Mar-a-Lago country club.
Parkland Mayor Christine Hunschofsky, learned of Trump’s tweets while appearing on CNN. Host Alisyn Camerota on “New Day” read the tweets to which the mayor responded, “If a solution was simple for these things, we would have found one already.”
Trump Revokes Mental-Illness Checks For Gun Sales
As President Trump called for better mental illness help he simultaneously removed Obama-era rules that
required Social Security Administration to disclose information quarterly to the national gun background check system about certain people with mental illness.
President Obama’s order to the Social Security Administration was to provide a list of people who were deemed so severely mentally ill that they are unfit to handle their own disability benefits.
Warning Signs Surrounded Nikolas Cruz
The former Parkland high school student was previously expelled from the school for unspecified disciplinary reasons and students at the school said they felt threatened by Cruz.
Cruz had a variety of gun and violence-related postings on social media sites, content that Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said was “very, very disturbing.”
In YouTube videos and through text posts, Cruz said he wanted to “shoot people with my AR-15” (sic), “I wanna die Fighting killing s**t ton of people” and “I am going to kill law enforcement one day they go after the good people.”
Cruz posted photos of his guns on Instagram and covered his face with a kerchief. He also showed off long knives.
It will be interesting to see if Donald Trump talked about gun control. So far, all signs point to no.
There have been 18 school shootings in 2018 under Donald Trump’s lack of leadership.
Welcome to the Red State…
